How long have you been providing these services?We bring tens of years of combined experience to the table. Our professional resume writers have successfully created or edited resumes of many individuals in various industries, to help them secure a job, travel farther down a career path, or change their career focus altogether.
How does the process work?· Determine the type of service you require. For assistance with service selection, please review Service Comparison. · After you submit your order, you will be able to upload your existing resume and fill out the Career Assessment questionnaire to provide us with information needed to immediately start servicing your request. · A resume writer will contact you to ask additional questions and begin the process. · Depending on the service selected, it will be completed within 48-72 hours of the purchase date. If you selected a resume product, it will be sent to you via email in Microsoft Word, PDF, and ASCII file formats.
What guarantees do you offer?Our guarantee is that your resume will be a success or we will rewrite it for free, offering you 90 days of unlimited resume edits. We stand behind our services 100%. If after 90 days you are still not satisfied with results, we will refund your money in full.
What levels of service do you provide?Some companies divide their clients into Basic, Advanced, Premier, Executive and other levels. We just do what we do best - work on getting you the best representation possible. This means only one level of service, the one that works!
Do you use templates for resumes and/or cover letters?No. We are opposed to using templates - for one simple reason: templates remove personality and make you look generic. If you look generic, what will make you different from other candidates? All of the work we do is unique to you and is completely personalized.
What is the typical turnaround time?Normal turnaround is 48 to 72 hours depending on the size of each individual project. Our resume writers work around the clock to give you the best results and highest quality service possible. Typically, we try to deliver the results to you sooner, knowing how important it is to have the resume ready for the specific job opening.
Do you offer Rush Service?We do not offer rush services (companies charge extra $100+ to just bump you up on the board). We do not approve this type of activity. Instead, we work quickly and efficiently to begin with! We will make every effort to accommodate your request to speed up the process.
What work is required of me?We encourage (but don't require) you to complete a worksheet that helps identify relevant skills, job descriptions, and achievements. While this step does take time to do well, the worksheet makes things as easy as possible and is very effective at helping you understand your unique selling points - which in turn helps with interviews and career advancement.
Can I speak with my writer by phone?Yes, absolutely! All customers, except those looking for a Resume Review service, get a phone interview with their writer by default. Our writers will use this call to learn more about your skills, experience, and career goals. The more information we have, the better we can present your abilities! We only ask that you use telephone time as productively as possible. While telephone time is not limited, we have to keep things on track, so bear with us…
How many rounds of revisions are there?“As many as needed” is the short answer. We do not have a set limit to the number of revisions we make. Typically we need 2-3 rounds to make the resume the best it can be, and to make sure you are satisfied with results.
What if I don't like the resume you write for me?Given that we have the best resume writers, it is highly unlikely that you will dislike your whole resume after we rewrite it. However, it's quite possible that you will see ways to improve specific sections (you're the expert on you, after all), and we build in plenty of time to work with you on revisions. At the end of the process, if you're still not 100% satisfied, we'll refund your money in full.
Do you guarantee that I'll get a job?Unfortunately, we are not in the hiring business, nor can we influence (at least, directly) the decisions of the hiring managers. We will do our best to create the most professional and complete resume to represent you for the position (s) you are applying for. Any resume service that promises to get you a job is just a marketing gimmick. That we guarantee.
